Miles' birthday celebration continued through the weekend with a birthday lunch on Sunday with both sets of grandparents, a great-grandma, a great-great aunt, and a second cousin. Such a lucky boy! He loved being the center of attention again.
John enjoyed having all of these people doting on him, too. He wasn't feeling too well on Saturday but perked up by Sunday.
On Saturday, Miles' attended his first wedding reception. Josh's cousin (and the boys' sometimes babysitter) was married here in town, and following the wedding, we stopped by the house and picked up our favorite three year old who was pretty excited to go to the "party." He loved dancing, and when he started to wind down, he snuggled in close to Josh's Uncle Mark (aka the baby whisperer). Here is a moment early on.
And finally, talking Elmo has re-emerged. As in, he is talking again (with the help of some new batteries). Both boys were having fun listening to Elmo's stories. Archie is still afraid.
