Fun in the Fort!

We just returned from an extended visit with Lolly and Poppy, which was wonderful. We celebrated the Derby, visited the Conservatory and saw the Butterfly exhibit, took some nice scenic walks, and dined on the river. Miles had such a great time with his grandparents, and I loved being back in the Fort with my parents for a few days.

Sadly Buster took ill while we were gone. He has developed seizures which have been so painful to witness. He went to Roxanne's vet and is on some pretty heavy duty meds. They seem to have slowed down the seizures, but the poor guy just paces constantly. He's still adjusting to the medicine, so it's hard to tell whether his strange behavior is because of the drugs or whatever is causing the seizures. Hopefully as his body adjusts he'll become more "normal." The vet was encouraging and said that from the neck down, Buster's systems look like those of a 4-year old. It's just what's going on in that brain that we don't know about.

On a happier note, Miles had his 6 month check up this morning. He is progressing well. He weighs 16lbs 15.5 oz and is 28.25" long. Big growing boy!

At the Conservatory - where are the butterflys?

Mmm, what's that on your face?

I'm peeing all over Poppy right now!
