Miles loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates (a show on Disney). Months ago he told me that he wanted to dress up as Jake for Halloween. John should be Cubby and Lauren Izzy, he told me. Perfect. And super easy to make. So we set out on a chilly Halloween in their "Bucky."
The boys were boy very into Halloween this year. Miles came home with quite a stash. All of John's candy (what little was left in his basket), had wet, sticky bite marks in it. See, he tried to eat every piece of candy that was given to him, usually before getting all the way down to the sidewalk.
Lauren rode along to a couple of houses and stayed out long enough for a picture. Then it was inside for her along with daddy. She stood at the window and greeted all of the trick or treaters. And had some Kit Kat. To say that she liked it would be an understatement. Josh said that she cried, or rather howled, until she was given a little more.
The boys made it for about 1.5 hours and then we headed in for some chili, then a little fun with our neighbors. A great Halloween.
