When I started this blog almost 3 years ago, it was my intent to keep our family and friends up to speed on what was going on with Miles, share pictures, etc. This is still my goal. However, as I look back on what I have posted over these last years, I realized that it's really become a journal of what the boys are up to, their likes and dislikes, and our everyday family moments. Since I don't scrapbook, this is my way of keeping everything in one place.

Yesterday I took the boys to a local park. I had never been to this place before, and while it wasn't exactly the best place to kick a ball around (a current favorite activity for Miles), it was fun for him to run through the bridge, check out the river, hear his echo.

And I love to watch my boys interact with other kids. The way other little ones gravitate toward baby John, the way they love to touch his squishy wiggly toes. The way Miles lights up when watching the bigger kids and how he tries to join in. Just the everyday things that aren't particularly exciting except when participating in them with my own children.
