Goings On

A little recap of what we've been up to lately...

Friday, Miles started school (PDO). He walked right in, looked at the crying kids like "what's the big deal?" and got right to business. His teacher reported that he was a very good listener and had a great day. Yay! I love his school - when we went to Meet the Teacher on Wednesday, his teachers greeted him by name even though he'd never had him before. They remembered him from out on the playground last year. Knowing my baby goes a long way to making me feel good about leaving him there.

Josh and I played in a golf tournament yesterday to benefit our friends' Race for the Cure team. The Trouts did an awesome job putting together the event. And we even used my ball a few times! :) The boys had a great time at home with my mom.

Today John is 8 months old. He continues to be a smiley, funny, happy little guy. He loves Miles and Miles adores him. They screech back and forth to each other, and John has even started to wrestle back a little with Miles. More like hair pulling and pushing him out of his face, but it's a start to what I'm sure will be some serious rough housing. He loves to eat (we haven't found a {baby} food that he doesn't like), he is a great sleeper, and a pretty easy going little guy.
And football season has begun. We're still more in baseball mode here, though. Go Reds!
