Easter Weekend

We had a beautiful weekend filled with lots of family and too much candy! We started off on Saturday with a trip to Highland's bunny breakfast. Miles was not a fan of the Easter Bunny (and for some reason I can't upload the pic to blogger. Unfortunate, too, because it's really pretty priceless). He ran off in tears. Later he warmed up enough to give him 5.
My parents and Josh's parents came into town Saturday evening and we started Sunday off at church, then back home where Miles checked out what the scary bunny had brought him. The only thing he cared about were his ummies (gummy worms). Josh's brothers and their families came over for lunch and I've honestly never seen my child so wild. He was EVERYWHERE! He had a great time, though. And we enjoyed our day together.

The ummies were the biggest hit of the basket.

The egg hunt started off. Miles immediately found two chocolate eggs and chucked them into the pond. Such a waste of perfectly good chocolate!

He was more interested in playing in the fountain than the candy. Maybe because he'd had a little too much of it already?!
