Welcome, John Romig Habegger!

John Romig (my grandmother's maiden name) arrived on Tuesday morning making us a family of four! We came home from the hospital today and are so happy to all be together at home. Miles couldn't come to the hospital to visit because of restrictions on kids due to the flu viruses, which was so difficult for all of us. He has had wonderful companionship while I/we were away, but he's had a few meltdowns during the week where he's cried for me. (While it breaks my heart, it's nice to know he misses me). I went with Josh to pick him up from his school today and the smile he gave me when he saw me was priceless. Made me cry!

John is just as sweet as can be. He's sleeping a lot right now, and we haven't had much of a chance to see his pretty eyes open, but he's just a delight. And the meeting of the two brothers went really well. Miles was curious but still happy and smiling. We'll see how this evening goes.

I'm feeling much better after this baby than I did after Miles. So far the recovery has been a lot easier. We'll see how long this 6 weeks of no lifting Miles thing lasts, though.

For now, a few pictures of our newest little boy:

Sarah!!! He is a doll. I think he looks like Miles in the partial family shot! I hope that I can get to meet him before we head out of town. Isn't it crazy how BIG Miles seems now? I am glad your recovery is going better this time because mine was worse the second time! AND, I only made it two weeks of not picking Carter up! I couldn't take it. Congrats to your family. I love the pictures!

Been thinking about you a lot...glad you are all home safe and sound. Get lots of rest and snuggle time with both boys and call if you need anything!

Congratulations Sarah! It's been a long time. I'm glad I found your blog. We just welcomed our second son in December as well. Life with boys is great isn't it?
