With his new water table, that is. Santa brought Miles a water table for use this summer OUTSIDE, but we couldn't resist. We set it up in the basement on our "waterproof" carpet and let Miles have at it. He thought it was the greatest thing ever. Pouring water all over himself, the floor, etc.
Christmas was really lovely this year. Well, it's always wonderful, but this year was especially great with Miles at an age where he could enjoy the festivities. We stayed in town for Christmas Eve and Day morning, something we haven't done in all the years Josh and I have been together. We had a wonderful meal with the Habegger family at Nate and Cassie's, then came home and viewed our traditional Christmas movie, Love Actually. We headed to my parents on Christmas Day and spent a little time with Lu and Kurt before they headed off to celebrate with his family. The Ft. T visit was really special this year because we spent time with my uncle Ned and cousin Jennifer. Josh and I hadn't seen them since Lu and Kurt's wedding! They are such dear and fun people, and we really enjoyed the visit. We also got to catch up with our friends, the Fritsche's. Miles liked Ben a lot, so much so that he thought it appropriate to eat Ben's pancakes right off of his plate!
A few Christmas pics. For some reason blogger was giving me an error message when I tried to post more pics. Here are a couple that worked.
After the chaos.
Josh very generously gave Miles and me a new bike and buggy. Can't wait to try it out!
Actually I tried the bike on Sunday when it was semi-warm. It's awesome!!
