snow days and west baden...

Lately. We finally had a couple of good snow falls that happened to come over the weekend. The first was while my parents were in town. Both involved lots of sledding.

Josh and Lauren's daddy/daughter night at her pre-school.

After Miles' final basketball game.

We were all down in the basement and came up to some noise and to John in this position. With berry tops all over the floor. Busted!

Last weekend we met my parents and Lucie (we missed Kurt who had to stay back for school) at West Baden. We swam, bowled, ate well, celebrated Lu's birthday, admired the amazing architecture, and had a wonderful time. The train that took us back and forth between the two hotels was a huge hit for the kids.

valentine's day...

Some pictures from our Valentine's Day. One of my favorite to celebrate with our kiddos. We started Friday with preschool parties (maybe the cutest thing ever). Then I was able to help out in Miles' classroom that afternoon (also high on the list of cutest things ever. I love watching Miles with his little friends). Their valentines are below.

It was lunch date day with John and Lauren so in between parties we had lunch at Pizzology. We had a front row seat to all of the pizza making. Not sure why we never have sat there before. Definitely a hit!

Saturday morning Miles had a basketball game and then we hosted a few cousins for our annual brunch. After we were all hopped up on sugar and needed a nap!

celebrating john and life lately...

Celebrating our favorite five year old began the day before his birthday with a party at the bowling alley. He and Lauren had never been before. Both loved it for a few frames and then the swivel chairs and arcade behind us were too tempting. That was pretty much the case for all of the kids. We followed up with lunch at Pizzology, John's choice.

{My mother-in-law was kind enough to play photographer, and I love love love this pictures that she got of M and me. He has been our little noser from the time he was a baby}.

A little snow playing after the bowling.

We continued celebrating the next day, his actual birthday. He had school so he was excited to take in {orange} cupcakes for his friends. Then he opened a few presents and we finished the day with a hamburger dinner.

{He knew what it was as soon as Josh brought it out. He was super excited to have a bike like his big brother}.

Two of the three modeling their Aunt Lucie designed Zodiac tees.

And lately. Basketball season is in full swing, Lauren sleeps with so much stuff {perfectly laid out} that we can hardly find her sometimes, selfies with John since he loves taking pics so much, cupcakes with the kiddos, a new smile!, head-to-toe Lolly knit, drumming away at Miles' Beach Bash, and more snow play.
