Our April started with Spring Break. We took a little trip to Nashville for some Lu and Kurt time. Lucie treated us to a great hike nearby where we saw nearly every type of wildlife imaginable (so it seemed). We also mini-golfed which was quite a hit. It was hard to find a place, though. Whatever happened to those Putt Putt places?
The other half of Spring Break was spent in Berne visiting grandparents, feeding goats, and playing outside a lot with cousins. April was a very weird weather month (note the t-shirts and winter coats during the same week).
After school started back up, we were doing a lot of construction and digging around our house, turning over every rock to look for worms.
The boys had to wear pajamas for one of their spirit days so they both needed new jammy pants (ummm, their regular pjs are so not school acceptable). John modeled his Star Wars pants.
My mom came for a visit and Lauren jumped in puddles, played tea party with her girls (Barbies), and jumped in more puddles. Oh, and snuggles with my M.
We closed out April with a 40th birthday trip to Las Vegas. We spent some serious pool time, did a little gambling, had some excellent food, saw Elton John, and hiked at Red Rock Canyon.
