Whew, the last month sure has flown by. A little of what we've been up to this month as we prepare for Christmas.
Bonding with our new kitty. Yes, that's right. We have a kitten. Her name is Toots (courtesy of Miles and John), and the intent is that she will become an outside kitty once the weather warms a little. For now she is a garage kitty who wants to come inside. Promises, that will NOT happen. She is awfully sweet, though.
December started off warm enough to enjoy several walks outside. The month has not continued that way.
John was my tree picker-outer helper and decorating helper.
Lauren and I were able to attend a little morning holiday party together.
Miles loves to wear his Frosty hat and his muck boots. I think he looks like a circus ringmaster here.
And some painting...
Playing in the snow went from this...
to this...
and back to this.
Date night/holiday party for us on Friday.
We went to the annual Santa brunch this morning at Highland. John was a little terrified of the jolly man. Couldn't even be in the same room. I don't know what Miles was looking at but Santa and Mrs. Claus thought he was funny.
Then an elf came with Misfit the reindeer. The children loved the chance to pet the reindeer.
And some pictures from our Thanksgiving in Nashville. The whole Rice family met up at Lucie and Kurt's for a wonderful weekend celebrating all that we are thankful for as well as Josh's birthday.
