It's a bit of a bummer to write this post at the end of March, but we had our first snow day of the school year. yesterday. Something like 9 inches fell so of course we were outside. I had planned to watch the boys play from inside with little Lauren (last time she wasn't such a snow fan), but she wanted outside in a big way. Wants to do everything her big brothers do.
We did just what we should be doing at this time of year. Played on the swingset. Right away Johnny's glove fell off. He was quite bummed. Lauren hung out in the swing, Miles went down the slide. The children had a blast! And so did mommy. Such fun to stay in our comfy clothes all day, have pancakes for breakfast, not have anywhere to be, watch a movie, play Legos. Awesome. So glad we had a snow day this year.
I had to sneak one in of Arch. Poor baby, is the snow too cold for your delicate little feet? It actually was up to his chest, and watching him run through it might have been the funniest part of the time outside.
