Whew! This summer flew by. I made a summer To Do list early on and we made our way through most of the activities...
swimming
the beach (x3!)
visiting with grandparents
wagon rides
feeding ducks
splash park, car washing
snow cones, water balloon fights
s'mores, sandbox
conner prairie, basketball tourney
crawling!
gardening (and enjoying the fruits of our labor!)
children's museum, breakfast at the park
We spent our last official weekend of summer with the Habeggers at a camp their family has visited on Labor Day for years. We had a great time visiting with everyone, swimming at the lake, and eating way too much!
Their were several boats to explore. Obviously the boys enjoyed that! John particularly liked honking the horn.
What fun! While summer is my absolute favorite season, I'm definitely welcoming the cooler and less humid weather we've had over the last couple of days. I look more and more forward to fall each year. Warm soups, sweaters and boots, pumpkins and special birthdays. Bring it on!
