Lolly & Poppy's, 6 Months Old, and Easter!

Busy, busy! Miles spent a few days during his spring break with his Lolly & Poppy where he had a blast feeding ducks, playing sticks and exploring with Homer, and being the only grandchild. Oh, how I wish our yard was fenced in. This child had a blast in the yard.

We went down for a couple of nights at the end of the week and this child had a blast playing in what else? The fountain. He discovered that if he pulled his arm up high enough into his sweater, the sleeve made a great sponge. He liked throwing water on Archie.
On Saturday this little lady turned six months old! Wow! She continues to be such a sweet and happy baby. We are so blessed! She loves her brothers and her doggie, she eats like a champ, sleeps super (except for a few recent 5:30am wakings. Not so good...), is interested in her toys, likes to sit up, loves her toes, is not a big fan of baby food, and is growing very well. We went to the doctor today where she got an outstanding report. She is 16# 1.5 oz (60%) and 26.75" (85%).
She loves the swing!

Then Saturday evening we celebrated with some early Easter baskets from Lolly and Poppy.

Sunday we celebrated Easter with church, an egg hunt after, and an amazing brunch, just the five of us. It was a perfect day so we spent a good bit of it outside where the boys could play their sillies out (you know, from all the sugar!).

We concluded the day with an egg hunt in our yard. Since these were the hard boiled variety and didn't have any goodies inside, they quickly became missiles to be launched onto the street. And our Easter celebrating came to an abrupt end.
