Last week was pretty lazy. John started the week off with a bug that lasted most of the week. He looked pretty peaked

but perked up for our Cinco de Mayo celebration (we really like cultural food celebrations around here).

Saturday, Josh and some friends played in a fundraising basketball tournament down at Butler. The little boys and I headed down with Josh and watched the guys play their first game. Miles' face when we first walked onto the floor at Hinkle was priceless. His eyes were huge, and he had this giant smile on his face. We know what sport he likes! They had a family gym set up with bounce houses and Chick-fil-A. Mmmm. The boys loved bouncing.
They even had a "horse" to ride. So Miles could practice riding for the Derby later on.

After naps we watched the Derby festivities (I'm still a Kentucky girl at heart), and visited with some friends.
Sunday I had such a sweet Mother's Day with my family. Josh's parents and my parents came into town, and we all had brunch together at Highland. Love this tradition we've started. The boys got me some outside flowers and plants which I still need to plant because I had such a lazy Sunday afternoon. Perfect! And I'm so blessed to be mom to such amazing little boys, and to have such a fabulous mom and mom-in-law.

Love these family pics! Will have to photoshop myself into the one with mom. Miss you all and wish we could have been there for the family celebration!
