Loved our weekend! We started off with our first campfire of the year Friday night. It got kind of crazy with all of the kiddos, but we all had a great time visiting and chasing.

Although Miles doesn't look like he enjoyed it much, he was probably just overwhelmed with all of the sugar he was consuming (note the 2 s'mores).

Saturday we had a wedding to attend, and my mom came up to stay with the boys. They had so much fun with her, Josh's parents who stopped over, and our friends, Chad & Danette, who came by before the reception. It was so wonderful to be able to spend some time outside, especially after all of the morning rain.

Sunday my dad came up to join us, and he and Josh cleaned out and redid our sandbox. For the past four years it's just been a litterbox for the neighborhood cats. Really, really gross. Needless to say the boys were thrilled to play in new, clean, cool sand. John ate a lot of sand. Didn't like it much. And he just kept going back for more.

A helicopter was passing overhead. He had to stop midscoop to watch it pass over.
