We had a great group over for lunch on Sunday. The weather could not have been more perfect for November, and the kiddos could run around outside to burn off some of the sugar.
Miles and mama

He really didn't seem to like his lunch, huh?
Not so sure about everyone watching and singing to him.
Didn't like the cake either.
Lots of present opening helpers.
Little family.
Monday. New b-ball goal.
The little guy is constantly on the move. He's gotten really fast, and it's becoming increasingly harder to keep up with him.
He LOVES the dog, and Archie loves him back. Miles is constantly handing over his toys to Archie and running around with Archie's bones, ropes, etc. It makes it tough to teach the dog what not to chew on! Miles really loves any dog; his ears perk up when he hears our neighbor's horse, I mean dog, bark (it's a beautiful but huge English Mastiff). He also loves his dog cousins very much.
He lights up around other kiddos. He really looks up to his (slightly) older boy cousins, and it's so cute to see them together.
He is also really enjoying his Parent's Day Out school. I think it's largely because he can be around a bunch of other kids (and away from me for awhile!).
His vocabulary is increasing every day. While he is still shy about talking to other people, he talks up a storm to Josh and me.
He LOVES to play with blocks and balls of any kind. He also loves to "read." He goes right to his closet, picks a book, and then snuggles right into our lap to read. I love this!
He had his 2 year appointment today, and the dr. was very pleased with his progress. She thought he looked great! He weighed 30.8 lbs (80th % - the kid loves to eat!). We couldn't get an accurate read on his height as he uses the big kid scale now and didn't want to stand up there long enough. Suffice it to say that he's tall.
He is such a joy to Josh and me, and we are so blessed to have such a fun and happy little boy. We are so excited to see him as a big brother soon!
